| We do value your business and appreciated the opportunity to help with upgrades to your very nice Z32. While there were some problems and miscommunications regarding the work performed on your car at Z1 Motorsports over a year ago, many of your statements and assumptions in this post are simply incorrect. We did not in fact break the clock spring causing the airbag light to come on considering we never disconnected the steering knuckle. The light was blinking since the first time we ever cranked the car to pull it in our shop. We did not have anything to do with the headlight issue. It was very upsetting to the tech that worked on the car that you were blaming us for problems we simply did not cause. Your washer fluid hose may or may not have been disconnected but I don't feel this is a very serious problem. I suspect we hooked it back up and it blew loose. The fact that you did not get the left over parts back was simply an oversight. Our service manager was busy and didn't remember to give the parts back to you and you didn't ask for them. When you called back later we did in fact return some of your items to you. Because the shop gets cleaned after cars leave, some of the more generic parts were mixed into our used stocks & some items like a used water pump and clutch for instance are just thrown away. We told you we we would just do the best we could to find a few of the "missing" parts that were yours or of comparable quality. The $300 you were offered and accepted was not for that entire list. The 555 injectors for instance were returned to you. The way the situation was portrayed in the post seems greatly exaggerated. We show that your car came in with some old style 4 bolt aftermarket downpipes on it and not precats in the first place. If there were highflow cats on the car they were of the autozone variety which we simply junk as they aren't worth anything as scrap. I can have our service and parts managers go back through records and offer our explanations for every point in your post on Monday. Z1 did not and does not need to try to scam you for leftover used parts. We have quite a few ourselves and that isn't the way we conduct business. I'm sorry to hear you were unsatisfied, but we asked you to come back and we would take care of any issues that were in fact our responsibility. You did return and led us to beleive you were satisfied after we had helped you out with some of your concerns. It seems that this gutted precat issue has spurred this post. Even though we show you didn't have precats to begin with, giving you the benefit of the doubt we can send you another pair of precats Monday if you like. It's been over a year. I'm not going to claim to remember each and every detail, but our notes are clear on many of the issues you've mentioned above. Let us know what we can do to help.
